You can send what the piece might be, a picture of where you might display it, a short description of yourself or who it's for, what the feel of it is, the size, what medium, or anything else you might think is relevant. If you don't know all these things, all good, and we can figure them out. And because this prompt is open ended - I'll let you know if I don't think I can make it happen. The last thing I want is a project where I'm stressed about knowing I can't deliver.
Step 1
- Video call or in person meeting to hash out what you're looking for
- During this meeting, I'll sketch out a general plan for your piece using pen/paper, an iPad, and AI
- For video meetings, you'll be able to see what I'm drawing while I'm drawing it to give immediate feedback
- We'll set the price for the project here, or I'll get back to you with a price if I need to work some things out
Time spent: 1 hour
Cost: $150
Step 2
- If you'd like to move forward with the piece, 50% is paid upfront, and I'll start working on it
Total project rate: varies but pieces generally start at $1,500
Step 3
- I finish the piece and deliver it
The rest of the payment is due before delivery
Note: Step 1 covers consult and planning time. While we will develop concepts together during this session, I retain all ownership and copyright of any sketches, notes, or designs produced.
